The collection encapsulates New Era’s street style cool and Havianas’ classic, laid-back, Hawaiian vibe we all know and love. It’s the perfect addition to your closet, something we’re all craving in the year of quarantine.

Fashion-forward pieces include a reversible navy bucket hat with an embroidered “Step Into Joy” design that speaks directly to the fun, colorful, and positive ethos of Havaianas. This same message is spread across the rest of the capsule while incorporating the 100-year anniversary celebration.

All pieces display both the New Era and Havaianas logos to indicate their limited-edition specialty. The trucker hat and 9Twenty classic hat including New Era’s signature silver stamp, which signifies that the hat is an authentic New Era style that boosts your street cred. New Era is the official sideline cap of the NFL and the official court cap of the NBA, which if anything proves these products live up to the same standards of quality, comfort, and function.

Here at The Manual, we stan the bucket hat and recommend you try it, too. It’s the must-have genderless accessory for 2020. The New Era x Havaianas version is the perfect place to start. It delivers a fresh level of swagger without trying too hard. Not to mention, you get a two-for-one investment with its reversibility. Some other favorite items are the washed denim baseball caps and the color block flip flops.

When two super-niche heritage brands come together, you know it’s special, and more importantly, worth the impulse purchase for your next beach day. The New Era x Havaianas collab will be available online and at select Havaianas stores in limited quantities beginning August 20.

What is old money style? (Plus, how you can achieve the look)
Adopt Grandpa Core with Old Money Style
Man in newsboy cap and pleated trousers

There is a new trend hitting the style industry that a surprising amount of young people are driving. While the war between Gen Z and Baby Boomers rages on in social issue and economic discussions, a bridge is being built with their clothing. Grandpa core is beginning to land with the youngest group entering the work world as they adopt pleated pants, suspenders, double-breasted jackets, and loafers. While they may rage against the elites online, Gen Z is adopting the old money aesthetic in an attempt to take it for themselves and change the narrative.

Old money style screams class, sophistication, and luxury. While trends may be full of pieces that adhere to the newest looks that go in and out of style, the old-money look sticks to classic pieces that never age out. It invests in basic pieces that may seem boring and plain but combine together to elevate every ensemble to the likes of JFK, Jay Gatsby, and countless others who defined our style in the 20th Century.

Charles Leclerc

Everyone knows that the style icon of the current Formula 1 grid is Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton. While Hamilton tends to get all the clicks and stares, other F1 drivers are making their mark in the style section. Charles Leclerc, Ferrari’s star driver, is one of the young drivers bringing fashion to the grid. Since Leclerc will drive alongside Hamilton’s teammate in Ferrari in a shocking 2025 move, it’s time to look at the Monaco-born driver.

Born in the affluent Monaco, there’s no doubt that Leclerc is known to wear high-end designer and luxury items. However, at times, Leclerc’s styling can be deemed more modern and eclectic than the quiet luxury fashion you would expect. Leclerc has also provided some controversial and eccentric style choices, there’s no doubt that the Ferrari star’s style will also be a rival for Hamilton off the grid.
Old money flair
Although some of Charles Leclerc’s grid looks have come under question, especially when he dons mixed prints, there’s no doubt that the Monégasque driver knows the secret to quiet luxury. Considering the opulent background of Monaco, it shouldn’t come as a shock that Leclerc knows the value of quality basics. When he isn’t experimenting with colors and patterns, the Ferrari driver dons white t-shirts and classic leather or denim jackets that are the epitome of stealth wealth.
