Whether you’re having a great day or a terrible one, a wonderful comedy can make your day. Comedies are designed to be pick-me-ups so I’m not exactly saying anything new. The romantic comedy, though, is a particular subgenre that can be transcendent when it’s great.

Being so infatuated with destiny, they decide to test its limits and see if it will bring them back together again in the future, waiting 10 long years before they both decide to begin searching for one another. With a firm belief that “everything happens for a reason,” this film will charm and impress with its ridiculous love escapades and a hilarious appearance from Eugene Levy.

Miles connects with a fellow wine enthusiast, Maya (Virginia Madsen), while Jack deceives a waitress named Stephanie (Sandra Oh) about his upcoming marriage. Sideways won an Oscar and is known for its sharp dialogue, memorable characters, and exploration of complex emotions.
