The adidas München Sneaker is Beer and Vomit-Repellent (Just in Time for Oktoberfest)

In honor of Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, sneaker company adidas has released their newest adidas München model, a stellar pair of Bavarian-leather-pants-inspired sneakers that we just can’t get enough of and are pretty much required for your next beer festival. Seriously.

Sporting a rich, chocolate and gold color way, speckled laces, and accented with “Prost” (German for “Cheers”) above the shoe’s signature three-stripes, these kicks match perfectly with the traditional garb of Germany’s Oktoberfest, the Dirndl and Lederhosen. To put it simply, these should be your go-to drinking cleats come beer thirty.

And if you’re not already sold, the adidas München sneakers also boast a beer and puke repellant DPBR coating. This means you wont ever have to worry about leaving your good shoes at home in order to have a good time come October because these shoes will survive any beer spill, puddle, or purge and still look good while doing it. If you’re not heading to Oktoberfest, but you’re still a brew-head, these sneakers flash a robust appearance for anything from soccer to football games and, of course, can be worn every day with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt for that classic-American-but-with-a-Euro-twist look.

The shoes are set for a September 2nd release through 43einhalb. As of this writing, you’ve got about four hours to prep yourself for purchase. So this only gives you about two weeks to get your fix for the Oktoberfest festivities once they come around on September 16th.

Kanye West’s team-up with footwear maker Adidas on the Yeezy line first dropped with the 750 in 2015. It’s going to run
collectors upwards of $1,000 or $1,500 to even get near a pair of those. Fortunately, the partnership has been steadily bringing out new editions and limited colors. The new 700 “Sulfur Yellows” are some of the most subtly complex so far.

The new edition Yeezy Boost 700 follows a string of releases that take a big dose of inspiration from the original Yeezy 700 model. The “Sulfur Yellow” colorway has just been added to the creative genius’ Spring release calendar, unveiled courtesy of Yeezy Mafia and expected to be available in the next couple of months. This will continue throughout 2022 as Ye‘s Yeezy footwear catalog is expected to drop out a number of new colorways in the coming months.

Big Pilot Shock Absorber Tourbillon Skeleton XPL: IWC revamps the Spring Protect
A new IWC tourbillon with an advanced Shock Protect System
IWC Big Pilot Watch Shock Absorber Tourbillon Skeleton XPL

IWC presents a watch with a reimagined shock absorber, the SPRIN-g PROTECT system, cleverly designed to house tourbillion movements. While the brand rolled out timepieces with a shock absorber system, they had to revamp it into a shape that could easily fit a tourbillion movement and safeguard it from external forces.

Apart from that, the tourbillion movement, the IWC-manufactured 82915 caliber, was slightly downsized into a smaller size that can perfectly sit on the cage of the shock absorber system. It now stands out thanks to the skeleton design, which is accentuated by polished bridges, rotors, and plates.
