Dawson vs. Green — 10/7
Grant Dawson and Bobby Green are two homegrown fighters, so this lightweight bout between them could be one of the more interesting main card fights in the recent history of the UFC. Although Dawson is a fairly heavy favorite in the bout, anything can happen in the octagon, and Dawson shouldn’t expect an easy victory. Dawson and Green’s fight headlines a day of action, and their fight is expected to start at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday.
Playoff Baseball — All Weekend
The exact lineups for this weekend’s games aren’t available as of this writing, and you know what that means: It’s playoff baseball season. Let’s be honest, there are unlikely to be any uninteresting series this weekend, and every one of them will have major stakes for who gets to advance to the next round of the playoffs. There is a fair share of heavy favorites, but as is the case with every playoff series, there are also some underdogs hoping for their own Cinderella stories.
Dallas Cowboys vs. San Francisco 49ers — 10/8
The Cowboys and 49ers are two of the major contenders from the NFC, so this head-to-head faceoff between the two teams could tell us a lot about which may be the ultimate heavyweight in that conference. The 49ers come into the game with a perfect record, and the two teams may also have the two best defenses in all of football. This Sunday night game might not be a high-scoring affair, but it seems almost certain to be a thrilling, close game. The game is set to start on Sunday at 8:25 p.m. ET.
Qatar Grand Prix — 10/8
As the Formula One season continues, the only remaining question seems to be how big Max Verstappen’s lead over the field will be. Verstappen has 15 podiums on the season, which is almost double the next-best racers. We’re watching a period of historic dominance in the sport, and every new race is a chance to see exactly what Verstappen can do. The Qatar Grand Prix will be his next test, and the race is set to kick off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
