The feeling from the adrenaline rush that comes with white water rafting is the best — as long as your clothes aren’t completely soaked. Whether you’re working your way down the Arkansas River, Alaska’s Alskek River, the Colorado River, or the Chattooga River, make sure that you put on clothes that won’t leave you feeling wet and gross.
Here’s what to wear while wight water rafting: Ideally, we suggest river sandals, but they’re so hideous. A pair of weather-resistant or old sneakers is the next best thing. We don’t recommend wearing any undies either. Find a pair of board shorts, swim trunks or something else that sufficiently fends off water. For your top, go for a synthetic moisture-wicking t-shirt, and bring a windbreaker in case it gets chilly. Then, throw on a helmet to protect your noggin and sun block you don’t get burned. Now you’re all set to hit those roaring rapids!
