Las Vegas’ Best New Bar is 55 Stories Above the Strip

The Palms Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, has recently undergone (and is currently still undergoing) a head-to-toe makeover. From the casino to the restaurants, rooms, and public spaces, The Palms spared no expense on its modern, but relaxed facelift. Leading the pack of new venues and features at The Palms is the new Apex Social Club, located on the 55th floor of the hotel and offering breathtaking 360-degree views of the Las Vegas skyline, including the Strip and the beautiful arid landscape that stretches out from the city in all directions.

Not taking the Vegas design mindset of more is more, Apex Social Club actually reeled back a bit on the Vegas extra-ness and managed to create a modern, hip, and comfortable social club and bar that defies the usual stereotype of either all-black decoration or all-neon insanity. A comfortable lounge area centrally located is surrounded by four stunning sculptures that give Apex the feel of being in a high-roller’s pad rather than a casino. Guests can sidle up to Apex’s graphite and sapphire bar and order a variety of drinks from a bevy of beautiful bartenders (male and female). Bottle service is available for those who struck it rich at craps earlier in the day (or for those who just want to go all-out Vegas-style).

Once you’ve got your drink of choice, head on out to the massive patio overlooking the glittering lights of the city. Take a moment for a brief selfie before the DJ starts up his set for the night, the music begins, and the mood-lighting changes from sophisticated to disco at the drop of the beat. Apex is the bar to head to when you want to see and be seen. As The Palms puts it, “You know what they say, a good view never goes out of style, but trust us, you’ve never seen Vegas like this.”

If high-rise clubs doesn’t quite hit the mark for you, head down to street level and step into The Palms’ other newly opened bar, Camden Cocktail Lounge. With a focus on crack cocktails, opulence, and indulgence, with a design that is reminiscent of a rich man’s fantastic library, Camden Cocktail lounge offers master mixologist who will craft you a cocktail right at your table with flair and precision unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.
