With Formula 1’s Las Vegas GP returning for its second year, PUMA is getting fans ready for the event with race-inspired sneakers. Along with other clothing items and accessories, PUMA and F1 have partnered up again for a collection that celebrates the high energy and neon atmosphere of the Las Vegas Strip. Along with a general collection, PUMA is also teaming with Mercedes-AMG Petronas for a similar lineup geared towards Mercedes fans. For the F1 x PUMA Neon Energy collection, PUMA has unveiled a remixed version of their Trinity sneakers which highlight the boldness of the sport and city.

Whether or not you’re headed to the track in November, the Trinity sneaker has plenty of style and practicality for outside the race weekend. Although many commemorative items lose significance after the event, the Trinity sneaker allows fans to show off their spirit year-round. Composed of black and purple colorways, this sneaker is sleek and modern. The leather and mesh uppers give the shoe contrasting materials that give it an extra edge. This collaborative sneaker includes a purple IMEVA midsole and SoftFoam+ sockliner for extra comfort and support. Above the Formstrip, a Formula 1 rubber logo gives a subtle nod to the sport. Additional details such as heel pulls and lace tips don a neon red color, which injects an extra hue into the design. Far from an average merch product, the Trinity sneaker mixes racing, style, and versatility in one practical form. These sneakers and the rest of the collection, should be available via PUMA’s site and select retailers, although the brand has yet to make them open for purchase.

Max Verstappen of the Red Bull racing team grabbed his fourth Formula 1 world championship this weekend in the still relatively new venue of Las Vegas. Verstappen joined Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Alain Prost, and Juan Manuel Fangio as the sixth driver to win four world championships, making him one of the most legendary drivers the sport has seen. That isn't the only legend that showed out in Vegas, as Abercrombie & Fitch x McLaren joined forces to celebrate the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The celebration included appearances by McLaren Racing Drivers Oscar Piastri and Bianca Bustamante (who have accumulated four wins between them), exclusive Abercrombie & Fitch McLaren Formula 1 Team Merchandise, specialty cocktails, and a performance by Los Angeles DJ Veggi.
Legendary racing team gets support from iconic brand

Abercrombie & Fitch and McLaren came together to celebrate the Vegas Grand Prix Formula 1 weekend with a one-of-a-kind meet-and-greet with professional drivers on the McLaren Racing team: Oscar Piastri and Bianca Bustamante. On Tuesday, November 19th, the drivers spent two hours pressing the flesh with fans and shoppers at the Abercrombie & Fitch Fashion Show Mall store. The brand is no stranger to Formula 1 collaborations, so this match was made in Heaven. If you missed the event, it is likely these two will come together again next time for another opportunity. In the meantime, check out Abercrombie & Fitch's McLaren collection to tide you over. Our favorite pieces are the Harrington Jacket and the Varsity Bomber Jacket, and the graphic tees are perfect for a weekend on the strip.

Puma’s colorful new suede sneaker is a sustainable dream
Puma's newest sustainable sneaker

Recent Puma collaborations have highlighted the creativity of some of their retro design, but their latest partnership is far from anything you have seen from the sneaker brand yet. Together with DIY specialist Nicole McLaughlin, Puma is releasing a vibrant new sneaker that celebrates sustainability and the art of upcycling. As part of their “Sweep the Factory Floor” campaign, Puma utilizes suede patchwork to create a new design where no two pairs are alike. Not only does this new shoe represent a step towards sustainability but it’s a funky and fun option for those who enjoy adding a little color to their looks. Besides the colorful hues, this Puma shoe incorporates some of your favorite aspects of Puma sneakers, making it a win all around.

Using the 1960s Puma sneaker as a base of the design, McLaughlin created this unique sneaker using randomized suede swatches to create a patchwork pattern. On the top of the shoe, a buttoned pouch covers the laces, giving the sneaker an all-around patchwork detail. McLaughlin’s name and logo are found inside the shoe and at the heel to indicate the one-of-a-kind collaboration. The sneaker utilizes scrap materials found in the factory, as pointed out by Ferdinand Krug, Puma’s partnership manager of global collaborations. Although an official date and price point were not announced, it is highly assumed this collaboration will be released to the public sooner rather than later. While we wait for the official launch, there's no doubt that this new sustainable Puma sneaker is a rare design that goes beyond the shoe.
