If you’re a fan of cocktails with fun and stylish flourishes and you’re looking for some inspiration for a Halloween bash, then the Vakkaru Maldives resort has shared its spooky season cocktail concepts. The flavors are sweet and fruity, and the real stars here are the playful garnishes which involve ideas like a blood dripping rim for your cocktail glass made from grenadine and sanding sugar or a friendly ghost garnish made from orange peel.

“Our new Halloween cocktails are all about bringing a touch of mystery and fun to the island, combining tropical flavors with spooky twists,” said the resort’s bartender. “Each drink tells its own story—expect bold colors, surprising ingredients, and a hint of the unexpected. It’s the perfect way to celebrate Halloween in paradise.”

Pick from black or red with these colorful Halloween margaritas
Make use of activated charcoal or pomegranite juice to brighten your margaritas
Casa Del Sol.

With Halloween just around the corner, it's time to prepare drinks menus for any parties you have coming up -- and here's one for the margarita lovers. The tequila brand Casa Del Sol from actress Eva Longoria has two recipes for margaritas in seasonal colors of black or bright red, giving a spooky vibe but still being great flavors.

The black version uses activated charcoal to give it its ink blank appearance, which is visually striking but easy to mix for a seasonal sip. There's also black salt for a fancy-looking rim if you can get your hands on it. And the red version incorporates pomegranate juice to give it a bloody hue and to add a sharp and fruity flavor to the combination of tequila and triple sec, with the more traditional regular salt rim plus a handful of pomegranate seeds for an attractive and on theme garnish.

Combine two beloved cocktails for a morning treat with the Dirty Bloody Mary
Add a splash of olive brine to your next brunch cocktail

If there's one cocktail that rules supreme for an indulgent brunch, it's the Bloody Mary. This endlessly variable recipe calls for tomato juice and vodka, and can then be spiced up with whatever combination of seasoning, hot sauce, citrus juice, vinegar, and other additions that your heart desires. But if you're looking for inspiration for your next brunch then high-end olive juice brand Ancient Olive Trees wants you to consider making it dirty.

The Dirty Martini is beloved for adding a splash of olive brine to vodka (or gin) and dry vermouth, helping to round out the flavors with a salty note which enhances the savory flavors already present in the other ingredients. And the principle works equally well for adding more salt and olive flavors to the Bloody Mary, which go well with the vodka and tomato juice.
