The partnership between Kith and New Balance has already become well-established and is among the chicest collaborations. Their previous joint designs are sleek and retro shoes that are bound to become classics for sneaker lovers. In their latest drop, Ronnie Fieg and New Balance are revisiting two previous designs for a brand-new collection of Madison Square Garden-inspired sneakers. For this release, the two brands have remixed the 991v2 lifestyle shoe and added two colorways to the Numeric 480 skateboarding sneaker. With these updates, these two brands refresh these designs for a modern Madison Square Garden-themed collection. After previously releasing a Madison Square Garden collection in November 2023, this new drop takes a look at two sneakers never before redesigned.

Once again, Salomon and MM6 Maison Margiela are joining forces to release two new designs, and this drop is unlike their previous work. This time around the two fashion-forward brands are reworking two Salomon designs to make them even more captivating and modern. The two new sneakers speak to a contemporary approach to the trails as they were redesigned with an urban eye. While one of the new designs comes in a bright and vibrant hue, the other is perfect for minimalists who love a sleeker touch. Although both are unconventional in their ways, they make for the perfect statement footwear for your closet, whether or not you hit the trails.
Cross Low and Acs Pro Mm6 Maison Margiela

For their latest collaboration, Salomon and Mm6 Maison Margiela redesigned the “Speedcross” shoe and renamed it “Cross Low.” This distinct silhouette includes a nylon closure that connects to a hi-tech molded composite sole via tapered waterproof seams. The inner slip-on shoe made of 3D mesh allows users to find a more comfortable and snug fit. The Speedcross’ redesigned lug pattern gives wearers a better feel and more stability. This shoe is ideal for all hikers as the waterproof design works from the inside out.

Hoka's refreshed hiking shoe

Although Hoka isn’t a stranger to the hiking shoe, it’s certainly been a while since the brand has honed in on the category. In 2015 the brand’s first-ever shoe in the category, Tor Summit, made significant progress with its chunky silhouette and heavy design. Years after being replaced by newer models, the shoe returns with a new feel. With a completely retro-inspired design, this new hiking shoe has all of the modern features you want with the look of a classic shoe. Even though this Hoka shoe is made for the trails, it’s also perfect for city streets and urban areas. Like other brands recently, Hoka is honing in on delivering the perfect balance between nostalgic design and silhouette with the necessary modern updates for a comfy and versatile shoe.
Hoka’s new Tor Summit

In this reinterpreted version of the Tor Summit, Hoka has added luxe nubuck leather, a rubber mudguard, zig-zag stitching, and metal eyelet hardware. Also included in the new shoe is Hoka’s signature cushioning, which gives wearers an extra layer of softness for all-day wear. The Vibram Megagrip outsole adds traction and stability to the bottom, giving the hiking shoe the ability to tackle any terrain. The new Tor Summit is already available via Hoka for $210. Although the retro hazelnut colorway is chic, the shoe comes in three other colorways, including a monochromatic black option. While Hoka hasn’t made any drastic changes, the rerelease of the Tor Summit is good news for all hiking lovers who enjoy adding style to their gear. And while Hoka’s hiking lineup certainly has much to choose from, this Alps-inspired silhouette is a must for any look.
