It’s nearing the end of March, and while it’s still bone-chilling temperatures for many of us, the thought of warmer weather really gets us hot. So now that we’ve thrown a pun out there, lets get started. Sunglasses. We need them to protect our eyes from harmful rays, especially after that gnarly hangover on Sunday morning. There are a plethora of cool options out this Spring, so check out some of our favorite out-of-the-box styles.

-TOMS Memphis Sunglasses – Known for their shoes, but starting to get some serious recognition for their eyewear. If you really want to step out of the sandbox, try these color block versions. Hard edges, and soft lines are brought together with turquoise, tortoise, cream and yellow. You can purchase them directly from TOMS (and they’ll donate a pair of glasses to someone in need).

-Wyler Sun by Oliver Peoples – These are modern, slightly oversized and bold. The translucent grey frame and blue gradient polarized lenses cool things down for those overly sunny days on the beach. You can pick up a pair at Oliver Peoples website.

-Ray-Ban Wayfarers – These are always a classic. But wait, how could they change these sunglass-staples up? Well, they made them out of leather. Too cool for school, too cool for the beach. We don’t know where you could wear these without being stopped every 15 seconds. You can get them here.

-Angelus by Garrett Leight -Considering that he’s the son of Oliver Peoples’ founders Larry Leight and Cindy Leight – we trust Garrett in the glasses department. Check out these matte black frames with minty fresh green lenses for an updated look with a touch of retro style. -Duckworth by Warby Parker – Who doesn’t love a good pair of Warby’s? The frames are laid-back, elegant and totally chill. Slightly rounded and one-of-a-kind thanks to their hand-mixed insets of tortoise acetate. These guys look best in painted desert with polarized blue frames. And you can’t beat the price. Get your pair here.

We spend a lot of time on the subject of how to dress — wearing the best suits and getting them to fit the right way, making a great first impression by having the highest-quality garments and the best grooming products. But one thing we don't always talk about is taking who you are inside and letting it shine through. Sure, almost every piece of style advice we give here carries with it an element of personal messaging. But there is one way that you can do that without having to overthink it. You can embrace street fashion.

Sneakerheads. Surfers. Skaters. Ballers. There are so many versions of street fashion, or streetwear, depending on how you want to refer to it, that it can get hard to keep them straight. But the crux is that this is defined as anything worn by people in a casual setting, usually representing a subculture they belong to, be it punk rock, hip-hop, skaters and surfers, or athletics. Typically, those who embrace this clothing category are younger (in their 20s) and live in urban areas more than rural ones. But now that social media has taken off, these looks and these subcultures are reaching every corner of the globe.
