Leeds based, Kaiser Chiefs are one of the most successful rock bands of the last decade. They have released 4 albums which have amassed millions of sales worldwide. Ricky Wilson, the band’s front-man, was recently chosen to be a coach on the UK’s version of the wildly popular, TV show The Voice, alongside Will.I.Am, Kylie Minogue & Sir Tom Jones which airs there on BBC ONE.

Education, Education, Education & War, the band’s fifth album, will be released on April 1st, 2014 via ATO Records. The ten-track collection was written in London, Los Angeles and Nashville, recorded at The Maze Studio in Atlanta, Georgia and mixed at Electric Lady Studios by Michael Brauer (My Morning Jacket, Coldplay) with producer Ben H. Allen III (Gnarls Barkley, Animal Collective, Deerhunter).

Few comedians have had the remarkable run of success that Jim Carrey has built over the course of his more than 30 years in Hollywood. From there, Carrey proved that he had more than one schtick up his sleeve, and he went on to star in a number of much more serious, dramatically rich projects. Of course, he still brought out the silly whenever it seemed necessary. What is there left to say about Adam Sandler? The Sand-Man has been a fixture of pop culture for well over 20 years, having worked first on Saturday Night Live and then broken out in a series of farcical, wonderful comedies in the years after his departure. He's one of the biggest comedy stars on the planet, and he's been part of some of the best comedy movies. He's also made plenty of movies that nobody should be forced to watch twice.
Anyone who loves comedy, and I count myself among that group, knows that Sandler can make you laugh like no one else alive. What surprised me most about Sandler, though, is his ability to use his skills as a comedian to more dramatic ends. He's a naturally gifted comedian who can transform into a gambling addict. Uncut Gems is one of the more tense movies I've ever seen, and while many major awards may have snubbed him for that performance, the fact that an actor who started in some of the stupidest comedies ever made (several of which I love) was ever considered for an Oscar nomination is remarkable in and of itself. Paramount Plus is one of the newer arrivals on the streaming scene, and while its roster is rolling out plenty of exciting streaming original and acquired shows, there are plenty of movies on Paramount Plus that are worth exploring. From the classic to the current and from the vintage to the very new, Paramount+ offers an excellent movie lineup that rivals any other streaming service, even Netflix.
That might seem hard to believe, but between its library of classic titles and the fact that Paramount still puts new movies out every year, there are few services that offer you more bang for your buck. Personally, I could spend all day perusing the streaming service without running out of interesting things to watch.
