They say that growing plants are the key to health and happiness, but we only wish it was a lot easier to remember to water them. We can’t tell you how many times we’ve accidentally killed a plant that was gifted to us because we either forgot to water it or we went away for too long. Now, thanks to the Amsterdam design agency Leaps Innovation, you won’t have to remember to water your plants so regularly or find someone to take care of them while you’re out of town.

Leaps Innovation created two products designed to take the hassle out of watering plants, the Pikaplant Jar, which is basically a glass vessel that holds either a Phalaenopsis, or Moth Orchid, which is native to South East Asia, and the Bromelia, which is from North and South America. The hermetically-sealed jars act as a terrerium and allow the 100 percent humid, nutrient-packed air to keep the plants nourished.

For those of you who are a little more ambitious, there’s the Pikaplant One, a low-maintenance glass and steel vertical garden that can work as a room divider, and looks great in shops, cafés, schools, offices and more. All you have to do is pick a variety of blooms and fill up the reservoir once a month and the ebb-and-flow watering system will magically give your plant the perfect amount of water.

No more worrying about watering your plants regularly! Now, imagine how many plants we could have saved if only we had a Pikaplant One.
