Today we speak to fitness coach and model, Akin Akman about his life and personal style.
I was born in Miami. When I was 5, I started playing tennis and have dedicated my life to this sport. Since then, I’ve traveled the world training and competing as a professional tennis player. Due to injuries, these dreams were put on hold but I found an alternative to continue being active and train. I’ve spent the last six years in New York City teaching spin classes at SoulCycle and bootcamp classes at Crunch. I’m also a personal trainer to A-list actors, fashion models and brand ambassadors. It has been a very rewarding experience and I strive to make a difference in the lives of others by encouraging them to find their inner athlete.
Akin’s Army was created when my clients began asking for advice on nutrition, health and powerful living. Casual conversations after class evolved into a group of regulars who wanted more out of their fitness lifestyle. Our members come from diverse professional backgrounds and varying personal goals but we are united by the pursuit of finding what it takes to be the best. Akin’s Army has grown into a community that genuinely supports each other to become the ‘best of the best’. Find out more about us on Instagram @Akins_Army.
