Bikes can be bulky. They can take up a lot of space. They can be a pain to store and keep your house cluttered. That’s why Patrick Jacquet and Rob De Schutter came up with Flipcrown, a simple, yet innovative way to store your bike. Basically, according to its website, Flipcrown is “a patent pending headset locknut that allows handlebars to be turned or flipped 90° for easy storage.”

According to its founders, “Designed to solve the problem of storing bikes in small, narrow spaces, FlipCrown allows to turn the handlebar so that it is parallel with the bike’s top-tube, letting you lean it against a wall without anything sticking out. Combined with FlipCrown’s chrome quick-release pedals and custom bicycle shelf, you can mount your slim bike on the wall like a piece of art.”

And guess what, Flipcrown recently earned more than its $15,000 goal on Indiegogo, so it’s going into production! What does that mean for the rest of us? A very simple and easy way to store our bikes. Think of all the other ways to use that space that will be freed up by hanging your bike on the wall. You could add a desk there, a table, a couch! More and less clutter, so how’s that for a contraption that basically allows us to turn the handlebars 90 degrees to make it easier to hang. Too bad we didn’t think of that. We have to say, we’re definitely glad someone else did. That way our bikes can get out of the way.

Stock up on USB-C cables now before the prices skyrocket
Various iPhones on a table.

Every year, iPhone users sit and wait for the newest version to come out, waiting to see what feature or color Apple will drop on them next. One thing that always comes up with each release is those darn cables, with users needing to make sure they have the right type of cord for the port and that all accessories are compatible as well. Apple might finally be listening to the woes of its customers, and if the iPhone 15 rumors are true, you might only need one cable for all but one of your Apple devices. Sorry, Apple Watch, but you're left out of this one.

The feature being featured
While we love to see what colors and upgrades each iPhone will have, there is one thing about the 15 sending users into a frenzy. The talk of the town is that the iPhone 15 might come with a USB-C port instead of the signature lightning port.

Apple iPhone 14 with new features

The iPhone 14 and 14 Plus have been out for almost a year, which means it’s time for yet another sequel. All signs point to Apple announcing the iPhone 15 next week, and if rumors are to be believed, some customers may have one in hand sooner than ever.

Posting on X (formerly Twitter), Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who has a respectable record for dishing out accurate Apple news, claims that Apple Stores “will be doing updates” on the evening of September 12. This is the same day Apple is expected to announce the new device, as the company has a special event scheduled for 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET.

Jesse Palmer may be famous as the host of The Bachelor, but he wants us to know his life doesn't merely revolve around reality TV: He likes to get out and enjoy the real world. He's also partnering with TINCUP whiskey on an intriguing new campaign to encourage more people to get out, meet new people, make new friends, and perhaps even forge new romantic connections.

Wait, so Jesse Palmer wants to set us up on blind dates? No, not quite. Instead, he's helping TINCUP launch its "Find Your Partner in Adventure" campaign. This starts with three special group dates this summer: one in New York, one in Colorado, and one in California. As TINCUP was preparing to launch this new campaign, I spoke with Jesse Palmer about his favorite kinds of dates, why we should look beyond dating apps to find someone new, and how whiskey can be quite romantic.
