Among the new items are the First Light, a lightweight, water resistant and highly-breathable active softshell made from a 3-layer nylon ultra-light stretch fabric. Setting this jacket apart from its contemporaries is its unique construction. Utilizing a technique referred to as sonic welding, an innovative no-stitch approach is used in order to reduces the garments weight and improve its water resistance.

“Sonic welding is a new form of construction for us,” says AETHER Co-Founder, Palmer West. “We appreciate both the unparalleled strength achieved through this method as well as the clean delivery of each and every seam. Clean, understated, and superior construction.  Everything we strive for at AETHER.”

Featuring angular lines, the Velocity is something of a sweatshirt/jacket hybrid while the Bowery is a more casual, light-duty jacket made from mid-weight brushed cotton. The latter features hidden buttons along the front closure concealed behind a storm flap giving the design a clean, minimal appearance. Double adjustable cuffs allow the sleeves to either be rolled or buttoned up.

The Welded Fleece pants are AETHER’s take on sweatpants, using advancing welded constructions to reduce seems, and in effect creating a more sophisticated silhouette versus clinging to the body in all the wrong places.

You can purchase AETHER SS15 at AetherApparel.com.

Apparel review: Ben Sherman mixes indoor and outdoor flawlessly
Ben Sherman takes you from the office to the trailhead
Man wearing Ben Sherman jacket and shirt

Every office has its own dress code, usually the dreadfully vague business casual dress code. While that can be a very specific portion of your closet dedicated to chinos, polos, and button-ups, it doesn't always crossover to other areas of your wardrobe. That is where Ben Sherman comes in.

I wore an outfit from the 60-year-old, London-based brand and discovered the joy of going from the office to the trailhead with zero effort. Of course, you wouldn't usually feel the need to leave your cubicle behind for a trek into the wild unknown, but with Ben Sherman, you don't need to buy a new pair of pants, shirt, or jacket for either.

While you may be thinking, who would ever need to go from the office to the woods right away (clearly, you've never lived in the Pacific Northwest), there is one person who did it all the time, Indiana Jones. The Indiana Jones Style Archetype is known for ditching the classroom for adventure and putting together a wardrobe fit for both.

Mitchell & Ness teamed up with Miller Lite on throwback gear to help you look like your dad
We love this Mitchell & Ness collection for Miller Lite
mitchell and ness miller lite athletic wear collaboration x amp club collection full suit 3

It seems everyone loves the '80s, and honestly, what's not to love? The simpler times, the yuppies, MTV, and, of course, the fashion. Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Co., a renowned seller of historically accurate vintage sports apparel, is capitalizing on that throwback trend with another partnership with Miller Lite. Together, they have launched a limited-edition collection that "gives a fresh take on the nostalgia of the original Athletic Club line" that originated in that decade. That's right! Now you can own vintage-inspired crew necks, sweatpants, t-shirts, windbreakers, and hats that will take you all the way back to that classic '80s vibe.
What's in the collection?
Pieces from the collection range from $35 to $100, according to a press release,  made with "premium fabrics, providing high-quality pieces that are built to last." This includes a classic crewneck sweatshirt that is unisex and comes with ribbed side panels for maximum stretch, ribbing at the cuffs for a truly '80s look, and the Miller Lite Athletic Club emblem on the front for $80. Also in the collection are the snapback hat in navy ($35), a navy windbreaker (because you can't have a throwback line without a windbreaker) for $100, sweats, and a 100% polyester unisex satin navy jacket ($95) to cap off the look. It can't get much more '80s than this.

Cold weather can feel like you don’t have a lot of options with your wardrobe, and warmth takes center stage over fashion.
