They may swear a lot, but Michelle Davis and Matt Holloway, the founders of that bad a*s vegan food blog Thug Kitchen, are really only after your best interest. Like many Manual readers, they grew up in homes were process food was kept in the fridge — you know, purple ketchup, green drinks, blue fruit snacks — that sort of thing. So they created Thug Kitchen, a blog that uses a whole lot of swearing, and only vegan ingredients, later following up with a cookbook that we posted about on The Manual.

Their newest cookbook, “Thug Kitchen Party Grub: For Social Motherfuckers,” follows the same premise as the original one — a lot of swearing and lots of good food — except for one thing: it’s made for party people! According to the founders, “’Thug Kitchen: Party Grub’ is full of more than 100 never-before-seen recipes for any occasion: birthdays, holidays, block parties, pajama parties, Mario parties, whatthefuckever. We’ve got your grub handled.”

You’ll be eating delicious food while being good to both your body and the environment!

If you've ever found a recipe that requires a springform pan, then had to do a Google search to know what that is, you're not alone. Springform pans are not a piece of cookware that would usually be on the list of most essential kitchen tools. Nevertheless, they are quite nice to have when making certain dishes, especially desserts like cheesecake or savory casseroles like a chicken pot pie.

Unlike traditional baking pans, springform pans have a band around the outside that unlatches, allowing your baked good to remain on a plate to be served. You can cut a perfect slice and leave the rest to be admired in all its glory. If you're a type-A sort of guy who needs perfection on all levels, you'll need a springform pan if you plan on doing any serious baking. Like every other piece of cookware, there are a lot of different brands to sort through. We've come up with a list of the best springform pans to buy for your cookware collection.

The 9 Best Food Processors for Your Kitchen in 2022
best food processors cuisinart

You might be wondering if you really need a food processor if you already own a top-notch blender. The answer depends on the type of food preparation you want to achieve. Both blenders and food processors are essential tools to have in your kitchen. However, there are certain kitchen tasks that one tool tackles more effectively than the other. And while some jobs are designed for a food processor but can be done with a blender (and vice versa), some aren't recommended for either machine.

The main difference between a blender and a food processor is that the good blenders available are designed to pulverize and combine mostly wet ingredients (smoothies, soups, and purees). While a food processor can combine wet and dry ingredients, it also can shred, chop, and julienne foods. You also have more precision when it comes to mixing ingredients like butter, doughs, and dips. Since you'll probably need a food processor, check out of our top picks for food processors.
