Throne Watches Are Ridiculously Beautiful

It’s okay to stare—the watches in the second collection from Brooklyn based design company Throne are undeniably vintage-money-slick sexy.

They’ve dubbed this set, their “1.5 watches,” and each are handcrafted in the U.S. with the design process in Throne’s Williamsburg studio. Every timepiece is equipped with an upgraded Swiss Ronda 1009 movement that includes date function, an intricately designed sub dial, and of course, the standards that made the 1.0 such a success.

The 1.5 face is clean and modern but still speaks to the minimal, vintage watches that have inspired the Throne team from the beginning, and is set perfectly into a 40mm stainless steel case and adorned with an antireflective coated Sapphire crystal.

As with Throne Watches’ first collection, you can customize the watches by choosing from an selection of wristbands on the Throne website.

Along, with the standard 1.5 watches, Throne Watches is also introducing a capsule collection for the launch based on the three cities the founders grew up in. The “Los Angeles” watch face comes in a shimmering gold reminiscent of the California sun and shine of Hollywood past. The “Brooklyn” watch face is a bold black combining ideas of Gotham nights and present day street wear trends. And the “Boston” is a vibrant green showcasing the city’s Irish roots and historic love for the Celtics.

All of the new 1.5 Collection are available on ThroneWatches.com and select boutiques worldwide.

The standard collection will retail for $500 and the city watch collection at $550.
