Sweden and Scotland are joining forces. Not the countries, though, that would just be odd. Rather, Swedish clothing brand WeSC is teaming up with Scottish sneaker brand Hanon for a limited edition line of apparel and footwear.
After successfully launching an exclusive collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation last year, WeSC decided to go the collabo route once more. This go-round, they’re teaming up with Hanon after discovering a common ground in their commitment to being not just streetwear brands, but labels that provide their customers with not just premium products, but ones they can’t find anywhere else.

“It really feels like working with family,” says WeSC CEO Joseph Janus. “The two brands have been fans of one another for a long time. We tried to keep very close to Hannon’s Scottish roots. Even combining the Swedish and Scottish flag. “
The collection was inspired by Scotland’s ever-changing climate and includes an Italian Melton wool coach jacket as well as a shirt and jersey produced in Portugal, a country with a burgeoning fashion industry.
Streetwear references are detailed throughout the line with military-inspired flag patches, dual branded logo tees, and a weather resistant 5 panel ball caps, and a classic knitted watchman beanie.
Janus recommends the coach jacket, citing its great fit and warmth. Good timing, considering winter storm Jonas is barreling through the East Coast.
The line will launch exclusively at Hanon stores tomorrow (January 23rd) followed by WeSC stores and online February 1st. Accessories start around $50, streetwear at $90, and shoes for $250.
