The Lawn Mower 2.0 is the Below-the-Belt Trimmer for All Your Manscaping Needs

Guys, please stop using your head-hair trimmers for your nethers. Not only is it unsanitary, but it’s also totally not necessary — there are gadgets that have been invented solely for trimming downstairs. One of the newest (and, in our opinion best) electric trimmers for your twig and berries recently dropped its second iteration, Manscaped’s The Lawn Mower 2.0.

Unlike that Wahl hair trimmer meant to give you a fade, The Lawn Mower 2.0 was designed to be used on the most sensitive parts of your body and features a “skinsafe” anti-nick feature that prevents nicks and cuts to your groin. It also has features to help eliminate any tugging, pulling, or tearing that can often occur with other electric trimmers. Beyond that, the trimmer can be used wet or dry (hello shower shave), has a snap-in blade system which makes changing blades a breeze, has two detachable guide combs with four length settings, and a non-slip, ergonomic handle to keep the trimmer steady even when you aren’t.

Manscaped sent us a sample of The Lawn Mower 2.0 for our own testing purposes and we can confidently say that we experienced no adverse effects when using the trimmer. There were indeed no nicks, cuts, tugging or pulling. Just a clean trim in a relatively quick amount of time. It sure as hell beats getting down there with a pair of shears or (wince) an actual razor. Clean-up is also a breeze with The Lawn Mower 2.0 Since it’s waterproof, a quick rinse and a shake is really all you need to do to make it ready for your next trim, but if you’re dedicated, you can go in for a deeper clean with a small brush.

Finally, the trimmer is cordless, making it super easy to get into those nooks and crannies that you might not otherwise be able to reach due to a cord entanglement.

The Lawn Mower isn’t the only product we loved from Manscaped. They also sent us their range of grooming products and, after testing, we can’t get enough of the brand’s Crop Cleanser Body Wash.

Not only does this body wash moisturize and cleanse, but it also balances your skin’s PH, and is literally the best smelling men’s body wash we have ever encountered. It smells as if a manly forest made love to a seaside orchard and produced a baby in the form of the Crop Cleanser. Seriously, even if you don’t care about manscaping or trimming, you still have to wash. So why not wash with the best?

Dr. Squatch might be famous for their bar soaps, but their new shower gel is perfect for anyone who prefers a body wash.
A collection of Dr. Squatch shower gels

Most guys probably already know the brand Dr. Squatch. If you go to the men’s aisle you’ll see their deodorants, face washes, and most notably, their bar soaps, which are famous for having tie-ins with big franchises like Star Wars, Harry Potter, and the MCU. Surprisingly, one thing Dr. Squatch didn’t have until now is a shower gel. Their new body wash collection launched on September 13 and comes in four scents: Coconut Castaway, Fresh Falls, Pine Tar, and Wood Barrel Bourbon.

The Manual was able to try out one of their shower gels before its launch, and after showering with their wood barrel bourbon body wash for over a week now, here are my thoughts.
