If you’ve ever crawled into bed with aching muscles after a satisfying workout, you may have wished for a mattress that could soothe your pain. Actually, it’s not a wish anymore. Scott Paladini, founder and  CEO of Bear Mattress, claims his company offers a mattress so advanced it helps people sleep better and have faster recovery time from the aches and pains of training or living a healthy, active lifestyle.

Here’s the secret: each mattress is designed with Celliant responsive textile technology. Paladini explains how it works. “Our cover uses the Celliant technology, which is a mineral woven into a thread. It takes radiant heat from your body while you sleep and recirculates it back into your body which helps the oxygenization of your blood, which, helps you recover from workouts quicker and get relief from aches and pains. Then we have a really cool advanced foam—it’s a graphite gel infused foam that’s up to seven times cooler than traditional foam. It’s really about sleeping cool and regulating the temperature of your body.”.

They have a showroom in Hoboken, NJ, but they ship all over the country through their website. A lot of people are in the habit of lying down on a mattress for a few seconds before they make a purchase, but with Bear Mattress there’s a better way. “We give customers 100 nights as a risk free trial,” said Paladini. “Sleep on it for 100 nights. If you don’t like it, we’ll come pick it up and refund it 100 percent.”

Paladini feels confident that when people understand the sleep difference for themselves, they’ll never part with their bear mattress. Each mattress is shipped in a box, with all sizes ranging in price from $650 to $1000. Everything is made in the U.S. and each mattress is backed with a 10-year warranty. The price is low because they are selling direct to the consumer and cutting out the unnecessary costs of having retail store middlemen.

“I’m very familiar with the mattress world,” he said. “My family has been in the business for more than 30 years. I was born into it,” says Paladini proudly.

Even worse, having to find the pump, plug it in, and listen to that sound traveling through your home. Times have certainly changed, especially now that you can find comfortable air beds that can feel similar to the best mattresses out there. You can even find air mattresses with pumps built right into them to pump air into your bed while you sleep.

It used to be that air beds were used as camping air mattresses, and you had to rely on a hide-a-beds, a couch, or a spare bedroom (which wasn't always available). An airbed mattress is quick and convenient, and you can store them easily. Mattress pumps have come a long way, too. These modern airbag mattresses can now be fully inflated in less than 5 minutes, which your sleepy guests will appreciate.
