You may remember that recently I talked about not buying cigar boxes as gifts. I stand by that for a few reasons. The biggest is that they can be expensive, even on sale, and a box includes a lot more cigars than a sampler or small bundle. That means, if you pick wrong, and it can happen, many of those cigars won’t be enjoyed the way you’d want. Instead, it’s best to go with a smaller sampler of five to ten cigars max. You’ll still need to do a bit of research and find out what your cigar person likes to smoke. But a sampler gives them a bigger variety and you more chances to earn a hit.
Just to provide you an example, this five-cigar sampler with is only $47, normally $55. Or, the is only $77, normally $85. Each pack includes five different cigars, the perfect cigar gift. Head on over to Famous Smoke Shop to check out their big sampler sale for Black Friday and you’re sure to find something in there.
Why shop these Famous Smoke Shop cigar gifts and bundle offers for Black Friday?
While I’ve already thrown out a couple of great examples, something tells me you’re going to need a few more name drops. Let’s do this. You’ll find a variety of deals and cigar gifts samplers from brands like Padron, Altadis, My Father, Kristoff, Southern Draw, La Aurora, La Gloria Cubana, and more. They’re all available at great prices, too. Especially since samplers tend to be more economically priced anyway. The six-pack the is only $50, normally $56. Not a huge discount but still a fantastic price for some good stogies.
Some are on sale too. I’ve spotted some featuring Drew Estate, Camacho, La Gloria Cubana, and beyond.
Here’s the best way to find out what your cigar gift recipient likes. Simply ask, and see what they say. Strike up a conversation and learn what they’ve been smoking recently. Visit their home and peep their humidor, or ask to see it. Or, just ask someone else in the family or a good friend who knows. Once you have a good idea of what kind of cigars they like, simply look up that brand on a retail site and find out what strength and profile they have. For instance, if they like Arturo Fuente, they want mild to medium-bodied smokes. If they love AJ Fernandez and Nicaraguan smokes, they’ll want something at least medium to full-bodied. Go from there.
Happy cigar gifting!
