It’s summertime, which means things can heat up pretty quickly. Thankfully, ASICS’ newest sneaker pack has a trio of releases that’ll cool down your shoe rotation this season. Aptly named “Pepperment Menthol,” this new sneaker pack uses lighter hues and all the comfort footwear tech to keep your feet cool and comfortable. As part of ASICS’ Sportstyle collection, these new sneakers mix athletic needs and stylish touches. While not as bold or as a statement as some of the brand’s recent releases, these low-key new designs serve as the ideal refresh you need for your performance sneakers. Influenced by archival running shoes from the 2000s, this trio pack is trendy and practical.

ASICS “Peppermint Menthol” Pack has arrived

For the “Peppermint” pack, ASICS has given a color makeover to their Gel-Kinetic Fluent, Gel-NYC 2055, and GT-2160 models. The Gel-Kinetic Fluent silhouette features grey overlays on the white uppers, contrasting with the green Scutoid Gel technology on the bottom of the shoe. In the Gel-NYC 2055 model, ASICS added retro mint green to its side panel stripes, heel counter, and eyelet structure. Following the other two models’ colorways, this sneaker has silver overlays and a tonal white upper. Lastly, the GT-2160 design opts for mostly silver and grey overlays and uppers, with only a pop of mint green added through a lateral stripe that snakes from the toe box to the heel counter. The entire collection retails from $100 to $180 and is available via ASICS’ various platforms. While none of the designs have been altered drastically, the seasonal play on the colorways is a welcome change for those looking for a fresher look.
