Celebrate the Golden Age of Motoring with the Autodromo Monoposto Chronograph

In honor of Autodromo’s five-year anniversary, the watch and accessories company inspired by the golden age of motoring has announced the re-release of its Monoposto Automatic, only this time, they’ve gone chronographic.

Designed to hearken back to the age of Motorsports when a driver had only his oversized dash dials and his own abilities to rely on, the Monoposto Chronograph is a stunner that will make you feel like you could conquer a European Grand Prix. And in record time.

“I wanted to do something special for all of the Autodromo collectors and fans who missed out on the original watch,” said Bradley Price, Autodromo brand founder. “I couldn’t just re-issue the watch the way it was. I had to do something even more special and break new ground for Autodromo with the introduction of a mechanical chronograph. I also refined every aspect of the watch while trying to preserve what people loved about the original design.”

And it’s easy to see what discerning watch collectors love about this current incarnation. With a Seiko NE88 mechanism (one of the finest chronographs available from Japan), a thicker case design, 34 jewels, a column wheel and vertical clutch for smooth operation (which prevents mechnical wear on the internal components when starting and stopping the timer), this Autodromo is not only accurate, but aesthetically versatile. It looks just as good against a suit as it does a polo and chinos, or hell, even a t-shirt and jeans.

Along with the new chronograph, the dial also sports its original (though repositioned) “redline crystal,” which is Autodromo’s homage to the original rev limiters in old-school racing. Prior to the introduction of mass produced racing vehicles, each driver’s mechanic would apply a strip of red tape or paint to the RPM dial to make it clear to the driver where the engine’s limits lay. The dial is updated to a tricompax layout, with a running second hand, a 30-minute counter, and a centrally located 12-hour counter.

The Autodromo limited edition Monoposto Chronograph Automatic retails for $1,800 and is restricted to a total production run of 500–with 200 black dials, 200 silver dials, and 100 in Azzurro. Get yours before they’re gone.

Tom Ford is done with the cold with Spring 2025 collection
Look ahead to warmer days with the iconic designer's Spring 2025
Tom Ford Spring Collection

The best part of winter is coming to an end. You can be excited about the dropping temperatures in the fall that allow you to break out your favorite sweaters. You can be excited about the snow as it propels you forward to a white Christmas. But once the holidays end, all we have to look forward to is snow, ice, and maybe some minor frostbite if you're unlucky. We're about to be mentally over it, and Tom Ford is giving us something to look forward to with his new collection. The Tom Ford Spring 2025 collection is live and gives us a little insight into what he and the rest of the fashion industry have going on when the sun comes back out and we start booking our beach trips.
Plenty of color of the year to go around

Tom Ford is a consummate professional. He is one of the most talented designers with a deep resume of fashion excellence. Of course, that means that if something is happening in the world of fashion, he is typically ahead of the game. Pantone just chose their color of the year a few weeks ago, and yet Ford already has plenty of mocha moose available for the upcoming season. Other standouts in the collection are the Toweling Polo in an exotic colorway and a jardigan perfect for those springtime morning coffees. And, of course, there are a handful of suits in classic colors that update your suit wardrobe to the best it can be.

Ralph Lauren dips into luxury fandom with MLB collection
Dress the stylish part while cheering on Aaron Judge
Ralph Lauren x Yankees hat and ball

As the NFL playoffs get closer and closer and you decide if you are pro-Patrick Mahomes or anti-Patrick Mahomes, the Major League Baseball hot stove is starting to cool down. Now that Players like Juan Soto and Corbin Burnes (the top hitter and top pitcher on the market) have signed deals with the Mets and the Diamondbacks, respectively, the rest of the dominoes will fall into place, and the teams will start to settle in for the season ahead. That means Spring Training is getting closer by the day (42 days and 7 hours roughly at the time this publishes, but who's counting?). That also means it is time to gear up for your fandom, and the Ralph Lauren MLB Collection is here to ensure you're the most stylish in your stands.
For the love of the Bronx

Ralph Lauren is a staple of New York City, so it is no surprise that most of the products you see in this collection are all about the Bronx Bombers. If you are a Yankee fan, you know what it is like on Opening Day. The temperatures can be as low as the 40s and rarely get into the 60s in March, so you must be ready for everything. The Ralph Lauren MLB Collection is stacked with jackets, sweaters, and hats that will keep you cheering for Aaron Judge while staying warm and ready. Combining the love of the Yankees with the style of Ralph Lauren is the collection we didn't know we needed as we move into the 2025 MLB season.
