On their own, Gap and Palace have carved out their unique branding and clientele. The American brand is known for its nostalgic yet simple silhouettes, including its iconic polos and Gap branding. On the other hand, Palace has become a staple in UK streetwear with its edgy and raw apparel that appeals to those looking to express their unique style. While on the surface, this collaboration seems random, it’s an important step for expanding both their audiences and customers.

According to Gap President and CEO Mark Breitbard, “We love collaborating with partners like Palace who are able to tap into our heritage and reinvent our product icons in a way that is true to their brand DNA.” With an increase of ‘’90s-inspired trends on the horizon, it makes sense for a staple brand like Gap to join in on the fun.

For those looking to expand their wardrobe with this one-of-a-kind collaboration, the good news is that there is plenty to choose from. With a 55-item collection, this collaboration brings everything you need to build out your wardrobe. Including hoodies, rugby shirts, t-shirts, hoodies, board shorts, oxford shirts, and varsity jackets, there’s something for every style to pick from. One of the aspects that sets this collaboration apart is the fact that each item has a reworked logo that infuses the Gap and Palace brands into one, giving you a truly one-of-a-kind piece you can’t get anywhere else. As a special addition, the collection also includes three exclusive skate decks and a limited-edition Jeremy Duck Plush Toy.

With so much to look forward to in this streetwear collection, there’s no doubt that pieces will be flying off the shelf. To get your hands on one of these pieces, you’ll want to be quick as the collection is set to release today in both the EU and US regions. In the US, the collection will be released at 11 a.m. ET / 8 a.m. PT on both Gap.com and Palaceskateboards.com. Gap reteams with vintage expert for 2025’s vintage boom
The designer and artist, Sean Wotherspoon, returns to Gap
Gap x Sean Wotherspoon

There is a significant boom in the fashion industry right now: reaching back into our sartorial past and finding those garments we loved so we can repurpose them for today. Of course, once you open those floodgates, it seems like everyone is looking for the vintage aesthetic and resuscitating old trends. 80s trends are coming back. 90s trends are resurfacing. And "Grandpa Core" is having a moment. That means that brands are also looking for their moment in the sun by releasing throwbacks. Gap is doing it in a unique way by combining it with the burgeoning resale market. They are teaming up with artist and designer Sean Wotherspoon to drop a new batch of vintage Gap pieces that are perfect for the fashionable person looking for that sartorial diamond in the old, outdated clothing rough. The Gap x Sean Wotherspoon team is running it back.

GAP changed the game with sweats by making them incognito
Go where you want in sweatpants and never get a bad look
Sweatpant Jean suit

There are specific dress codes men follow. Things you wear to work can be classified as business professional, wearing a suit and tie daily. Or maybe you work in a place that is a little more laid back, and you wear business casual. Either way, an elevated version of your wardrobe is reserved for the office. On the casual side, you have streetwear and athleisure, which you wear outside the house. Jeans span these looks and seem to fit everywhere because they are a classic staple. Sweatpants, however, are somewhere between gym wear and loungewear. Despite their comfort and our love of being as relaxed as possible, they aren't exactly appropriate to be worn out of the house while you run errands or get social. That is where the Gap Sweatpant Jeans are attempting to make a change.
Jeans that really aren't

We all love a good pair of jeans; some are made for comfort. But a pair of sweatpants, especially Gap's heavyweight and ultra cozy sweatpants, made to resemble a pair of jeans, changes that game. You can go out on the town looking elevated while incognito comfortable. What's better? They added a denim jacket to the look so you can have an entire sweatsuit look while looking like you put more effort into the ensemble. We wouldn't suggest this as a date look, but hitting the grocery store, the park, or even a movie is now the comfiest thing you can do with your weekend.

Revitalize these 80s trends for today's style

Big hair, bright colors, hair bands, and some of the greatest movies ever made; the 1980s were a great time. Nostalgia plays a big role in our lives. Any time you start doom-scrolling social media, you are hit with everything from AI videos reimagining the time of our childhoods, younger people discovering Guns N Roses for the first time, and the reviews of a Back to the Future rewatch. Of course, every decade has its version of the same telling aspects like music, movies, and culture, but there is one aspect of every decade that sets it apart from every other quickly: fashion. Men's fashion in the 80s was known for acid-wash jeans, neon colors, and cropped shirts. But as with every decade, there are trends that come back, and you should be ready to revisit old times with these 80s men's fashion trends that are making a comeback.

I am a huge fan of a good comeback trend, and Will Giddon, director of brand at Rothmans NYC, shares the sentiment and loves some of the trends he sees on the comeback trail. "I love that the fashion of the 1980s is making a comeback in modern men's wardrobes. It adds a bit of a nostalgia factor and gives some extra personality to the way men are dressing."
