Tanner Goods Cycling Collection

Generally speaking, most companies tend to put function before form when designing bicycle gear, and unfortunately, style is typically more of an afterthought. But Tanner Goods isn’t most companies. As one of the premiere fashion brands based in the bike-infested city of Portland, Oregon, these guys know a thing or two about making cycling accessories that are just as fashionable as they are useful.

A little over a year a year ago, after a series of discussions with Cielo (a PDX-based bike brand), Tanner started fiddling with a few conceptual designs for a cycling collection. Over the course of a few months, this resulted in the production of three exquisitely-crafted waxed canvas and leather bags: a handlebar mounted bag for the your little necessities; a saddlebag to store a few tools for any unforeseen roadside maintenance; and a frame bag/shoulder bag capacious enough to haul a trio of 22’s from your favorite brewery.

Previously, the bags were only available if you purchased them as part of a bike frame package from Cielo, but Tanner will soon start selling the cycling collection in its own retail shops in the next few months. They’ve also been touring around the country and showing off a new pannier-style bag at various bike shows, so be sure to keep an eye out for that as well.

We’ll keep you posted on availability, but in the meantime you can find out more here.

Awake NY, Dr. Martens brings the color in a vibrant, hairy new collection
Dr. Martens, Awake NY release new shoe
green and navy blue dr martens on red steel box

While we’ve all come to love the sleekness of the moody Dr. Martens boots, their latest collaboration has added a significant punch of color to the lineup. In collaboration with Awake NY, Dr. Martens has remixed their iconic silhouettes with a brighter hue and hairier texture. Taking on the Lowell design, these two brands have reworked the darker tones and opted for one that brings in inspiration from New York and cumbia music. Although they are a drastic change from what you usually see from the Dr. Martens brand, these collaborative shoes are the perfect blend of a timeless silhouette with a modern touch. With plenty of fun and bold details spread throughout the design, there’s no doubt that these chunky shoes will brighten up any wardrobe with style.
Dr. Martens x Awake NY Lowell Shoe

While it’s easy to recognize the Lowell shoe anywhere, the new bright-colored hues will make you do a double-take. Now available in green and peony navy, these new Lowell designs have also upgraded to a new textured base. Constructed with Hair-On leather and a contrasting black oiled leather branded backstrap, these collaborative shoes have plenty of spunk. Complementing the design are gold star eyelets and tonal stitching on the moc-toe vamp. Not to be forgotten is Dr. Martens’ iconic yellow welt stitch that ties it together. While the hairy and colorful uppers might not be the first choice for many, these vibrant details add plenty of style and flair to a look. When styled properly, these Lowell shoes can stun and complete any outfit. These new designs will be available beginning December 6 via Dr. Martens and Awake NY’s respective websites.

Ariat teams with rodeo legend for true cowboy collection
Trevor Brazile knows cowboying, and wants to help you become one
Ariat Relentless

Ariat is a big name in western wear. They are one of the biggest. From stellar boots and jeans to attractive and functional shirts and outerwear, they have always been one of the go-to brands for everything cowboys need. With the National Finals Rodeo about to kick off in Las Vegas, you will likely see Ariat everywhere, and even more likely, you will see their collection with 26-time world champion Trevor Brazile. The collection, Ariat Relentless, is one of the most stylistically functional lines a cowboy has seen.

“I've been a big part of everything I’ve done with Ariat,” Trevor explains. “The team is truly interested in moving cowboys’ and cowgirls’ lives forward, and they've been at the forefront of innovation for so long, and that’s what drew me in. On their own, technology and tradition are not enough. But Ariat puts those two together with everyday use, which has made this collection real.”
