I have this Jacket Maker suede jacket and it’s so cozy — 20% off for Black Friday
The Jacket Maker the Aaron leather bomber jacket worn outside

I'll admit, in sunny and warm Florida I don't need thicker jackets very often. But when it gets cold here, believe it or not, it can get cold. Before you criticize my commentary, know that I am from New England, so I know real cold. I digress. The point is, I don't get to stretch my stylish jacket chops often. But I do travel every year to spend time with family and so I still need warm, winter-friendly jackets for that, and for the month or two when it's cold in my home state. That means I need a versatile jacket I can wear in many types of weather. Cue the leather jacket, or more specifically The Jacket Maker's leather jackets. There's a reason they landed a spot on our list of the best leather jackets for men.

Regardless, right now, they're offering a flat 20% off all jackets with free shipping and extended exchange options -- if you're not happy. Deal or no deal, Caputo and Co.’s men’s bracelets are worth a look ahead of Black Friday
Various Caputo and Co. bracelets.

While recently reviewing Nordstrom's wares for our coverage of Black Friday deals, I had an unusual experience — something went out of stock as I was writing about it. Jason McCarthy explores GORUCK’s unplanned beauty and inspiration
GORUCK 25L Ruckers SRT 259 bag on Rucking community member

GORUCK was founded by two militant masterminds, one with time in the American Special Forces and the other from the CIA. More specifically, Jason and Emily McCarthy, who both had a hand in bringing the brand's signature traits to life. The initial goal was to create a rucksack that could hold up to military-grade standards. From there, without compromising on a single element, the brand grew into the powerhouse it is today, offering outdoor and travel gear, footwear, apparel, and more. It's an integral part of the rucking movement, a low-impact exercise with military roots in which you walk with a weighted rucksack. If you want some gear that will go the distance, that's rough, tough, and ready to rock, is the place to shop.

We chatted with Jason McCarthy about that formative journey and what's in store for the future. Grab yourself a snack, maybe a drink, and let's get into it.
