While there are still some lingering Prime Big Deal Days deals, the fact remains that the event is over. Many of you found Amazon’s event a perfect time to take advantage of grill deals, for a combination of the price and seasonal appropriateness. However, we also know that many of you really wanted a grill but didn’t find something you liked or weren’t sure of your budget. The silver lining comes in the form of this 22-inch electric tabletop griddle from Blackstone, which is now on sale for just $197. It’s usually $237, so that’s a savings of $40 or around 17%. If you’re interested in it and know your way around a grill already, you can go ahead and tap the button below to find this Blackstone, but if you want to know more there’s no harm in reading on for our take.

Why you should buy the Blackstone E-Series 2-Burner 22-inch Electric Tabletop Griddle

This griddle has 312 square inches of cooking space, no propane to deal with, and Blackstone’s famous rear grease management where you essentially just push grease out through the back of the griddle panel to clear things up. In other words, a lot of the typical hassles that come with grilling and griddling are eliminated by this design. In fact, a lot of the biggest grilling safety issues are completely absent or mostly dealt with just on account of how this griddle is built. Plus, there is an LCD panel that lets you see temps coming from either of the griddle’s two burners, keeping your food safe from overcooking.

You’ll also want to take a look at the removal glass screen on the griddle. What this does is allow you to pull down a top over your food, kind of like putting a lid over your skillet in the kitchen. This allows you to trap and surround your meat and veg with heat, as well as keep in moisture, without sacrificing the view.

So, there you have it, this 22-inch Blackstone griddle could very well get you through fall and into early winter with ease. Right now it is 17% off, which takes $40 off of its regular $237 price point. Just tap the button below to grab it now.

The Block Distilling is releasing an Amaro
The Block Distilling is releasing a new after-dinner drink
Block Distilling

The Block Distilling, well-known for creative and innovative spirits, is again branching out into a classic drink style: the after-dinner drink. It already launched its signature Apéritif and is set to release an Amaro. So now, drinkers have two choices for nuanced, complex drinks after a heavy meal or before bed nightcap.
Block Distilling Amaro

This 35% ABV Amaro is made with a blend of herbs and botanicals, including birch, spearmint, anise, sarsaparilla, and more. One of its more unique ingredients is dehydrated sugar. This unique amaro was also finished in The Block’s previously used whiskey barrels. The result is a spicy, complex, nuanced, highly sippable after-dinner drink you’ll go back to again and again.

The one essential you need to host a great cocktail party
Spirits, check. Glassware, check. Guests, check. There's just one thing missing
A group of people toasting with their drinks at a party.

I'm hosting a cocktail party this week, and I'm determined that this time I'm going to practice what I preach. While I have a fine selection of spirits and I love using them to mix interesting and unexpected drinks, there's one rule I always fall foul of and I imagine you do too. So let's talk about the most overlooked but essential ingredient for a successful cocktail party: plenty of ice.

My rule is that however much ice I think I'm going to need, I'm always going to need more than that. Between using ice for shaking or stirring cocktails, then adding fresh ice to glasses for serving those drinks, ice gets used up at an astonishing rate for even a small group of people. I can't count the number of times I've had to get guests to reuse their ice cubes from one drink to the next, or tried to shake a cocktail with just a single measly ice cube because I've run out and the freezer is sadly empty. And ice is not something that you can lay your hands on quickly, as even if you refill an ice tray it will still take over an hour to freeze properly.
