Love a Good Guinness ‘Stache and Helping People? It’s Your Lucky Day

Anyone who has ever had a pint of Guinness knows what a Guinness ‘stache is.

That mustache of foamy goodness that’s left after your first sip is perhaps as iconic as the beer itself. Because it is so iconic, Guinness has decided to harness the power of the Guinness ‘stache for good.

From now through March 19, Guinness is giving you the chance to donate money—just for drinking Guinness and getting proof of it.

What proof? All you need to do is snap a photo of your ‘stache and tag it on social media using @GuinnessUS and #StacheForCharity.

For every post to social media, Guinness will donate $1 (up to $100,000) to their Guinness Gives Back Fund. Previous recipients of GGB have been The Leary Firefighters Foundation and Packages from Home. The recipient of this year’s donations has not been chosen yet, but is expected to be soon.

The decision behind this initiative was easy, according to Guinness Brand Director Emma Giles. More than anything, it’s about unity, about bringing people together.

“Let’s face it, now’s as good a time as any to raise a pint,” said Guinness Brand Director Emma Giles. “We need to reconnect with what can bring us together as family, friends, coworkers, Americans, and most basically, human beings. St. Patrick’s Day is almost here and few, if any, holidays are as unifying or as celebratory,” Giles said in a statement.

So there you have it, the easiest way to donate money ever—drinking beer and posting to social media, two activities you’re probably already doing every day.

A cocktail to toast the Houston Rodeo from Beyoncé’s whisky brand
Welcome the 2025 Houston Rodeo with this honey, ginger, and whisky drink
Texas Buckiin'

With the 2025 Houston Rodeo on the cards for next month, rodeo fans are getting ready -- and preparing cocktails too. One on-theme suggestion comes from SirDavis, the whisky brand founded by Houston native Beyoncé, which has created an easy to mix drink that's perfect for enjoying the spectacle.

Combining classic flavors of whisky, lemon juice, and honey, then adding a good splash of ginger beer for length and flavor turns this from something heavily boozy to more of a casual, easy sipper that's good for a relaxed drink without too high ABV. And if you make the honey syrup in advance, you can whip up one of these drinks or even a batch of them quickly and easily.

Pick your preferred Margarita: spicy, sharp, caffeinated, or classic
There's a Margarita to suit every palate
The Original Margarita

This weekend sees National Margarita Day, and if you fancy raising a glass to this beloved cocktail then you've got plenty of options. You'll find Margaritas in both frozen and non-frozen versions, and if you've only ever had a happy hour pre-batched frozen Margarita from a machine in a dive bar, then it's well worth trying the non-frozen version. With quality spirits and fresh citrus juice, the drink is clear, classy, and perfectly balanced.

As for ingredients, practically anything goes here too. While Margaritas might vary with the fruits, garnishes, and even spirits that they use, with mezcal being a popular alternative to tequila, one thing that almost all Margarita variations have in common is the use of triple sec.
