This Keurig K-Slim coffee maker is 50% off right now for Prime Day

Keurig K-Slim coffee maker
Amazon / Amazon

If you want to level up your coffee game, now is the perfect opportunity. For the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale, the price of this Keurig K-Slim single-serve coffee maker is slashed to just $64.99 — a 50% discount from its normal retail price of $129.99.

While Keurig machines are known for being ultra-convenient, the K-Slim is a major improvement on the clunky Keurig models of the past. Its ultra-sleek design clocks in at less than 5 inches in width, so it hardly takes up any counter space, making it the perfect coffee maker for compact kitchens, offices, and dorm rooms alike. Despite its condensed size, it offers the same efficiency and speed as a larger machine, allowing you to make a fast, high-quality cup of coffee within minutes.

The K-Slim (which is now 50% off) has the option of making an 8-ounce cup that’s ideal when you want a drink with concentrated flavor. Or you can brew a larger 10 or 12-ounce cup if you prefer an Americano-style cup of joe. It’s also compatible with any K-cup or similarly-sized generic pod, so whether you are craving a dark espresso roast or a light-bodied latte, the K-Slim can make your coffee exactly how you like it. You can even make tea and hot chocolate with this machine, too.

Its removable 46-ounce water reservoir allows you to brew up to four cups of coffee before you need to refill it. Plus, its auto-off feature shuts down the machine after five minutes, so there’s no need to unplug it before you head out the door to the office or gym with your coffee in hand.

This incredible deal on the Keurig K-Slim is only available during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale on October 8th and 9th, so make sure to snag it before time runs out. Because nothing beats a freshly brewed cup of coffee, especially when it’s quick and hassle-free.

Cantaritos: Harvest and history in a glass
Cantaritos 101
Melinda Archuleta of Bar Carlo

Drinks culture is built around communal traditions that celebrate both ingredients and people. The stories are fascinating, whether the theme is the history of Pilsner or Georgian amphora wine. The cantarito is no exception, a drink with Mexican roots that goes way, way back.

Melinda Archuleta is the chef and founder at Bar Carlo in Portland, Oregon. She didn't realize that cantarito was a known cocktail before a trip to L.A. to visit her sister. There, at El Compadre, she experienced it firsthand. "I’m a tequila-soda-grapefruit drinker, so their cantarito was my obvious choice, and it brought back a lot of memories around other simple cocktails I’d had over the years in Mexico and San Diego, many of them built around whatever was at hand or at the corner store, and always lengthened with soda to encourage lingering a bit longer," she said.
